Today we enjoyed a selection of whiskies and rum tasting and pairing with cheeses at Rocksalt. Zacapa Rum was one of the standout labels on offer. This brand of rum is aged at a high altitude with low temperature and oxygen concentration that slows down the aging of the rum. This allows more time for aromas and flavours to combine and this is evident in every sip. The product is a blend of rums aged from six to twenty three years in a solera.
